| This is my treasured 1953/54 GA20 model that has the 6SJ7 preamp tubes. One day in 1988, my father found this amp sitting in the trash while taking his daily walks around the block. He brought it home and gave it to me. It didn't work at the time but with a new fuse and a quick fix to a few cold and broken solder connections, she once again sang with the beautiful 50's tube tone! This was my very first Gibson amp. Since then, I decided to study and design tube electronics... Dad and I can recreate this amp for you using premium grade parts and solid cabinet construction. Dad does all the woodwork and I do the cosmetics and electronic assembly. For increased tone and resonance, the BA20 is taller, wider and deeper and has a larger speaker opening than the original GA20. "This IS a great sounding amp!" Studio slips custom gig bag is optional at an additional cost. Copyright ©2006-2008 Buffalo Amplifiers All rights reserved. Buffalo Amplifiers is not affiliated with Gibson Musical Instruments. |
